Submission Center Guidelines for the Portland, ME Housing Provider Clowncil.

1. Stay safe

Do not reveal any information that puts you at risk including details about your location, name, or address. Unless you explicitly want me to boost your platform(s), I will not accept personal details.

2. Have fun

You must enjoy, even if angry, the art piece you are submitting. I will know if the pieces are not coming from a genuine place as the authoritative source of all things subjective.

3. No landlords, cops

Let's remember that we're organizing on stolen land. The Clowncil is not affiliated with the following, but endorses and wants you to support the following in theory, practice, and wallet.

4. Email your submissions

I'd like to spotlight marginalized perspectives and art that local press often censors and erases. Submissions can be in the form of essays, poetry, stories, paintings, sculpture, music, etc. These may come from organizations or individuals. The focus of your submission should be on marginalization and decolonization.
